A/V Processors are always a challenging product. They're relatively difficult to make as the manufacturers have to work a wide variety of challenges. These include the HDMI specs, DSP processors, and the usual hurdles of good to great quality components. All of this is done while trying to meet a price point.  There are two ways to go here.  To meet a specific budget, home theater receivers should be looked at. We sell Onkyo,  Denon, Yamaha, NAD and Pioneer.   The prices range greatly according to features. 

The second approach is taken by performance brands in the business where the very high reproduction of music and video is stressed. Good examples of this are Krell and Bryston. Both have superb processors that stress high performance and capabilities replicating music and video as well acting as hubs for streaming services.  What to get is determined by the old adage of performance for the price.
